Face to Face Support (The Hive)

Highland’s first out of hours mental health crisis centre

The Hive or The Hive Project as it was originally known, is the Highland’s first out of hours mental health crisis centre, based at 19 Academy Street, Inverness.  Providing a safe place to those who are in need of it, the Hive offers face to face support aimed at reducing social isolation, supporting people to maintain their mental wellbeing and for those in crisis.

The Hive

We provide free, impartial, and non- judgemental support for anyone aged 17 and over to attend on their own, or accompanied if 16 years or under. Our staff and volunteer support workers are there to listen, support, guide, advocate where needed, signpost where appropriate and use their knowledge and skills to support you as best they can.

Often just talking through issues with someone you can trust can help gain a perspective, sometimes you will need our staff and volunteers to not only listen, but to support and guide. What we can promise is we will try and help you with whatever issue you wish to discuss and tailor our support to your own individual needs.
